Hey all ,

When we configure a full backup of sql 2005 database followed by an incremental log backup , is it going to truncate the transaction logs after the incremental log backup ?

Thanks in Advance

Jose

Thank you pkh. I missed to mention that the SQL 2005 instance in question is used for share point . Hope still truncation would happen.

Thanks

Yes.  Truncation will occur regardless of what the databaseis used for.
