Dear All,

I have problem with SEPM after update to version 11 MR4. In firewall rules policy config the "Inherit Firewall Rules from Parent Group" check box is disabled (grey) and not checked, why? In other firewall rules policy I can check or uncheck this option but I can't see any changes. Before update SEPM (ver. 11 MR2) everything was OK. Thanks

Yes, the parent gruop have firewall rules associated.

Does the child group have inheritance turned on at the group level? NO

inherit firewall rules...

If you disable inheritance on the child group and deploy a non-shared firewall policy, you can then select to inherit the rules from the parent group firewall policy. However, this does not appear to be dynamic, so if you then make changes to the parent policy, these are not reflected in the non-shared child policy.

I may be wrong about some of this, as it is only based on my own observations.
