Initial download of updates crash the network

Created: 10 Jun 2008 • Updated: 21 May 2010 | 2 comments
When I run the initial download of updates for LUA2.1, it is 400MB and uses about 20+ connections to the internet.  This crashes the network here at work 100% of the time.  Are there any alternatives to this?  Is there a single package I could download to update LUA2.1 that wouldn't use so many connections and kill the bandwidth here in the office?  Is there a way to throttle the bandwidth usage of LUA2.1?

It is not possible in LUA 2.1. This functionality will be available in version 2.2 within few weeks. When you join beta testing program you can download beta version and test it.

Indeed, it would be good to get feedback on the initial preview build.

We are looking at another preview in late July/Early August.

Not only will it allow you to manage your bandwiddth usage, it will also let you get more specific on the updates you reallly need.
