  • 1.  Insert Token in SMP 7.1 limited to A-N ????

    Posted Apr 19, 2012 09:00 AM

    Hi

We are running SMP 7.1 SP2

when i create a run script task and attempt to insert a token the list only populates to the letter M.

I can manually type in N and get a result "%NIC{0}MACADDR%" but if i try any letter after N, O-Z it returns nothing

Now I know there are tokens there as I can browse to them using "Create/Edit and can see them in the list

so for instance "operating system name" and "Wins proxy enabled" does not appear yet typing S produces "Subnet mask" ???

this is really holding me back has anyone else had this issue ?

    C

By design, lists only enumerate to 20.  You will have to type to get more restrictive results.

    Hi Mike

Typing doesnt show any additional entries e.g. Typing OP or OS does not allow the token for Operating System to be selected even though it is listed under Settings > Deployment > Tokens

    Cheers

Ah, how correct you are!  I've confirmed the issue in 7.1 SP2 after adding twenty custom tokens (ABC001-ABC020).
