Hello,
Insight is a reputation based protection technology that can help to prevent unknown or encrypted malwares. It calculates reputation scores from some specific properties of every file and check if it pre-exist in Symantec Reputation Database before. Regarding the answer coming from the database (trusted,not trusted,not exist), your clients get some actions that coming from their manager or own selves like Clean,Quarantine,Delete,Log etc.
So, if your files (in this case bit9) is not known from Reputation Database or your copies are not trusted, then it maybe deleting or quaranting files automaticaly.
