  • 1.  Install of EP Client fails on box with Epson Scanner

    Install of EndPoint Small Business 12.1 client fails on a desktop that has an Epson Scanner attached. 

    Symantec setup runs then the Epson "ecopy.exe" is kicked off and the setup halts.  I have disconnected the scanner, stopped services and resident programs to no avail.  Setup seems to execute the ecopy.exe program.  Any thoughts? Solutions?

    if you uninstall printer drivers, does teh installation goes through?

    Hello Patrick,

     

    Are you installing managed or un-managed client. I would suggest to install SEP without Firewall component and update the status.
