Install Netbackup Client fail.

Hello everybody,

My system has 2 Exchange servers run cluster mode.

When I installed NetBackup Client 7.0 for Win 2008 Enterprise x64 (node01), I find  this problem:

Node02 is ok.

Pleaser help me.

Did you right click and "Run

Did you right click and "Run as administrator" when you ran the setup?

Yes, Riaan is correct .. please check and run the setup by rightclicking and "run as administrator'

Terminal server

If I'm not wrong, there is something about installing via RDP,

R U installing locally? via VNC?

 

 

Try to uninstall everything about netbackup and install again,

try, start/run/ appwiz.cpl  remove netbackup ans install again

Yes, I did, but don't resolve the problem.

I connect to Node01 via RDP, when remove netbackup encountered the following error:

This action is only vaild for products that are currently installed.

It seems to be Windows

It seems to be Windows Installer problem. I could see a Well documented details regarding this in link https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/articles/u....

Check the possibilities in that link. May helpful to solve this problem..

In some cases its better get a fresh copy of netbackup installer executable and re try.
