  • 1.  Install Sep 12 Client always failed after restart

    Dear Friends,

     

        I have A problem, while installing SEP Client with this server specification :

     

    OS: Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard Edition, 64-bit Service Pack 1 (build 7601)
    OS Type: 64-bit
    OS Version: 6.1.7601
    Virtualized: No
    Physical memory: Total: 7.99 GB Free: 5.58 GB Used: 30%
    Page file memory: Allocated: 3.99 GB Free: 3.55 GB
    Processors: 4 logical processors (4 cores in 1 physical package)
    0 Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5606 @ 2.13GHz
    IPs:
    HP Network Team #1 172.16.72.136
    HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #53 0.0.0.0
    HP NC382i DP Multifunction Gigabit Server Adapter #50 0.0.0.0
    Drives:

    when I am installing SEP 12.1 to this server, I restart the server and after restarting, the SEP doesnt exist in the windows and no SEP 12.1 availble in this server AKA Rollback to the previous state before install the SEP 12.1.

    HI,

    Can you provide sep_inst.log.

    Did you received any Blue screen error when system restart ?

    Where Can I find the SEP Inst LOG ? and I don't received Blue Screen Error when restart, the Hardware are OK.

    you can find Run-> %TEMP%

    to get the logs, go to Start>Run and type %temp% and you should be able to locate a text file called sep_inst.log.
