Installation of BE 12 fails on SQL install

I am trying to load Veritas Backup Exec (BE) 12 on a Windows 2003 SP2 server but the process in failing during the install. Below is how I am trying to install BE.


Setup Selections

Installing BE software and options

The environmental check results are attached

Evaluation copy being installed

Selections to be installed: Tape Device Drivers and Enable Robotic Library Support

Install to directory: E:\Program Files\Symantec\Backup Exec\

The install uses a local service account with Admin privileges

Default SQL install directory: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\

Symantec drivers for all devices is selected

Once the install stars, it fails with the below message in the error log.

Server setup

ProLiant DL 380 G5 quad core server with 8GB of memory

Windows 2003, SP2 Enterprise

HP Ultrium (LTO 3) StorageWorks 1/8 Ultrium 920, G2 tape autoloader HP part number AH165A (SCSI)
HP SC11X HBA card, p/n 412911-B21 installed in slot 2 of the server. HP driver version (CP008498.exe)
