I need to protect a Windows 7 computer.
I have SEP 11.0.5002.0 installed.
How do I create an installation package for the Win7 workstations? Or can I use the same installation package as I use for my Server machines?

Greetings,
The packages in RU5 are all the same, as long as you are using the 32/64 bit packages accordingly you can use them on any Windows installation.

With Win7, do you need to install the Liveupdate portion manually first, before deploying, as you do in Server 2008 R2?

Greetings,
With Windows 7 there is no need to install LiveUpdate first. If you are familiar with deploying to Windows XP it is identical to that. We just now officially support Windows 7 with RU5.
The only new concern is with UAC blocking installations so keep an eye on that.
