  • 1.  Installation Problem

    Hi,

     

    i'm trying to install symantec endpoint protection on a client machine ,

     

    The installation start, but after about 10 sec it stopped and it seems to be blocked .

     

    i tried to installa the client as domain administrator, domain user and local administrator without results.

     

    I've got no problem with other programs and software .

     

    any ideas?

    How many systems where you get the same problem??

    Version of SEP??

    pass on the sep_inst.log ( located under %temp% folder)

    you are installing this client on Windows 7, aren't u?

    UAC is turned on on that client Machine?

    Please give us some more information:

    OS of the machine where it's failing

    The install logs.

    When does it fail?

    Hi

    Are you installing on windows7,vista & 2008.

    When you starting the installation of SEP please disable the UAC.(User Acess Control)
