Hi,

I updated my workstation from Vista to Windows 7 64 Bit. Installation studio 7 was already installed on Windows Vista and it ran under Windows 7 64 Bit as well.

Now I had to log in as a new user - and nothing worked with Installation Studio, it does not start. My question is, how can I run Installatuion Studio 7 under Windows 7 64 Bit?

Norbert

Reinstall as the new user

The licensing for all Wise products is held in the user profile of the account that was used at install time. If you have logged on as a different user, you will need to reinstall your Wise product and re-enter the license key. It is not an operating system issue, it is the way the licensing operates.

I did so. Because it didn't

I did so. Because it didn't work I installed the package new. The installation was terminated successfull, but the program doesn't start. The hour glass appears for a few seconds, that's all. I tried as user and as administrator.

I had a similar situation and I resolved it by setting up a virtual XP machine to run Installation Studio in.
