    Hi,

    we are using a french localized version of GSS 2.5.1.

    We have some servers running Windows Server 2003.

    When we update the Inventory for the machines, the information is properly updated by for some server (around 20%) for which the "Installed Product" class has no information returned.

    We can't figure out why these servers have a different behaviour on this point as the machines are installed on the same way.

    Ghost pulls from the WMI class infomation.   You could check with a third party tool to see if the WMI data is available or not.    I am not saying that the ghost server isn't the issue, I just have a divide and conqure mentality and so this would be a way to quickly narrow down where the disconnect it.

    WMIExplorer is my tool of choice, as it shows all the WMI functions and will display what the system returns for any specific function when you select the function, so is a very quick sanity check of the functioning of WMI on a specific machine. It's a free download - just google for it.
