I'm trying to install a agent on a Windows Server 2003 R2 server. I have uninstall SAV 10 and now want to install the agent. However when trying to install the agent I get the error that I must uninstall the older version of Symantec console first. Do I run clean wipe for this uninstall?

You dont need to use cleanwipe for that, You just need to uninstall Symantec system center console from add/remove programs.

running cleanwip will remove all Symantec products You have installed on the box.

C:\Program Files(x86)\Symantec and Symantec Antivirus or SAV.

    Reboot then try installing SEP
