I am installing Oracle 11.2 on a Windows 2003 VM session and after installing Oracle and while installing the Database Template I receive an error that states "You do not have enough free disk space to create the database.  You need at least 139797504 KB (133Gb), you have only 33714448 (32Gb)."

I have not seen anywhere that the template needs 133Gb but because this is a DEV environment to test Discover I only need a small instance.  Does anyone know a work around, besides adding more space to the installed partition.

When you create the database from the DLP Template, change the options on the data files (the ones under the USERS and LOB table spaces).  It creates the first few data files by default at their max size, which is 32 GB apiece, instead of creating like 1 GB datafiles and setting them to autoextend.

Thanks for the response Keith.  Looks like the issue was with the Oracle install.  Sixth time was the charm.
