I was wondering if anyone had tried this. I am beginning and evaluation of Xendesktop and wanted to see if there were anythings I needed to be lloking out for etc. when deploying to a Xendesktop VIrtual Machine.

I have not heard of any issues.

This is all I could find. http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2004022310441648

No mention of Xendesktop VIrtual Machine though.

we dont test on VDI products, yet.

I have however installed SEP onto both VMWare View and XenDesktop, it works fine.

So, I got this working.  I think the big problem is that SEP does not work in a non persistent disk vdi environment.   I wrote a document on how to get this working in XENDesktop or PVS here http://www.thegenerationv.com/2010/04/symantec-endpoint-protection-on.html

The fix is different with different versions of the SEP client but you will get the idea.
