Hello.

Have tried several times to upgrade current SEPM 11.05 to 11.06A but installation allways does a rollback without explanation.
Have latest Windows installer and all patches applied frm MS.
Running on a W2003 R2 Enterprise SP2 in VmWare environment.

I have searched this forum and found some solutions to test but so far no success.

Could you please  post the complete sepm_inst.log file?

Here is the file.

go to add/remove programs
remove symantec liveupdate 
delete liveupdate folder
install liveupdate
then install symantec endponit protection manager

following  entries are see:

UCA: InstallLiveUpdate enter.
LUCA: C:\DOCUME~1\ADMINI~1\LOCALS~1\Temp\QLNOEBCU\LiveUpdate\lucheck.exe
LUCA: InstallLiveUpdate : CreateProcessAndWait( LUCHECK.EXE ) returned 206
Action ended 09:51:05: InstallFinalize. Return value 3.

Kindly uninstall liveupdate  from control panel, delete the  liveupdate  folder from:/documents and settings/All users /application data/Symantec, and from C:/Program files/Symantec.

Then try  to upgrade sepm.

Good afternoon,

I have the same issue since last week and no one at Symantec 1rst level support was able to help me after more than 8 hours on phone.

I have to escalate to level 3  today and waiting for a phone lab. My production server was used as testing.

Thank God I have a Sanaphot to revert at any time if not I will be in trouble.

 No scenarios from them was able to fix my issue at this time.
