  • 1.  Installing SQL Server 2014 Express through GSS 3.0

    Trying to install Ghost Solution Suite 3.0 on a W10  machine. I select the option to install Microsoft SQL Server 2014 Express through the Ghost installer. However, I'm getting an error that reads: "MS SQL Server 2014 Express Installation failed with error -2067919934"

     

    That's a pretty big error code -- any ideas what sets it off?

    What version of Windows 10 are you installing the software on. The specs state that it must be Windows 10 Enterprise Edition? Even using that version the performance is not the best.

    That error is usually "Pending reboot from an earlier operation"

    When the ghost installer does a slient install on the sql express you don't get a good error from it.  I would suggest installing it first on your own.  The files are in the dssetup folder that was extracted.  Then you will get the full error including if you are missing a .net version or service pack or as andykn101 pointed out if there is a reboot waiting to be done that is holding the installer up.
