So i've selected the VMs that i want to install the Agent for Windows but was hit with the following error:

"Online, but tools not installed or network name not available. Backup exec Agent for Windows will not be intalled."

Is the latest version of VMware tools installed in the VMs ?

...and if you try a normal push-install?

Thanks!

VMware tools are not installed at the moment.

using vCenter Server Appliance, ESXi-5.1

Normal push-install can be done successfully, but not via vcenter.

As the error message states, VMware Tools is required to be installed in the VMs.
