This issue has been solved. See solution.

I have been trying to install my product for a bit now and keeping getting an error message, that says I have something pending.  I started a support request and they told me how to get rid of that error. My new problem is that when it starts to load and gets to the live update portion it will do a roll back and tell me I have to reboot.  I am so frustrated now, I want the through this out the window.  Please send me in the right direction on how to fix this issue and get this downloaded and working.

Do you have a registry entry called PendingFileRenameOperations under the reg key "HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Session Manager"?

If so; rename it, reboot and see if that helps.

Yes I do and I have tried that and still have the same problem

error message, that says I have something pending.

So what is the exact message?

there is no new error message, it was the pending and I did the registry name change and reboot.  I tried several different ways.  The install starts but when it get to the part about Live update it stops the installation and does a roll back.  The screen says that it was interrupted and has been cancelled.

If the install is an msi file try running it as:

msiexec /i msiname.msi /l*v "%temp%\msi.log"

I googled and downloaded liveupdate from the website and installed it.  I then tried setup again and it did not hang up this time.  I have now been able to get this to down load.  Thanks for the help
