Hi I am using SCS 3.1.7     .  But I am not using the firewall in that. From past  few day on my server frequently I get a message as follows.

    Agent launcher.exe - Application error
The Instruction at "0x2800c550" refered memory at "6x00000004" . The memory could not be read.

Click ok to terminate the program
click cancel to debug the program

I get this error many times a day .Antivirus is working perfectly fine but the server has become very slow.
Server OS is windows 2k3 sp2. with 2GB RAM.

What is this error and how to solve this.

Could simply be a "bad block" in the swap space on your hard drive.  Try increasing the amount of "disk space" allocated for "Virtual memory" and moving it to another partition, preferrably to another physical hard drive.

Did you run diags on the HDD itself?  I know not always easy in production hours, but maybe when you have some downtime...

How about reinstalling? Jason might be correct and you have copied the application on a bad block. Please also consider running a chkdsk /p

I think I found the reson of the problem.

WE are using hardware RAID1 on server . and due to some reason raid has failed and giving some beep sound every other day. after rebuilding the raid that error is not appearing anymore so i think that might be the problem.
