I'm experiencing the same issue as this old artice: https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/production-workflow-web-services-timing-out

Anyone ever get a good solution to this? The workflow is having to check against the DB many times, so even with a connection pool of 200, I'm hitting it in a matter of minutes, depending on user activity. I could be cycling the application pool, but it would have to be recycling once every couple minutes, which is less than ideal.

Which version of the product are you running? I know we've addressed this issue in a variety of rollups in mid-March of this year. If you tell me the version, I can confirm if it's in a rollup.

One note - decause the fix occurs in the component "template" we use to generate components, the generators would have to be "re-ran" again to get the fix.

I'm using 7.5.2000.472 - the build that came with SD 7.5 (pre-MP1).

This is in the SD MP1 rollup, that's where I originally checked our checkin history. I'd contact support to see if it's possible to apply this rollup against the 7.5.2000 version.

Was it in MP1 itself in a rollup after it? If it was in MP1 I could just install that.

It's only in the rollup, not core Mp1... you could apply MP1 and then the rollup... or you could just apply the rollup itself. I'd first check with Support and see if this version of WF is compatible with SD 7.5 base.

I can apply MP1 first and then the rollup. Do I have to contact support for the rollup?

Yes you will need to contact support to get a copy of the MP1 rollup build.
