I am trying to ghost a image of some new toshiba laptops we got in with Intel 82567V Drivers and I can't seem to get the computer to notice any of the drivers when I boot it up. I have tried replacing the dos drivers with different versions of them. Didn't know if there was a certain version that anyone knows that works I could use.

or if anything a external usb ethernet port I can get that works with ghost and just use that universally on all my computers?

Thanks

You will need to use Intel's prodos.exe driver. What version of Ghost are you using BTW?

11.5.0.2113 is what is says

11.5.0.2113 is what is says for version in ghost console... Do you have a link to the driver I would need... I have tried different drivers off their website and either I have used the right one but didn't install it right or am using the wrong one

Open Ghost Explorer and click on help and about. What version does it read there?

Instead of using DOS build yourself a WinPE boot disk. That should make all the difference.

It says the same exact

It says the same exact version 11.5.0.2113... I have tried doing the WinPE boot disk, it loads up but when I check the IP it gives me it is the 127.0.0.1

I am getting the same

I am getting the same problem.  No drivers seems to work.  I am booting an HP desktop, it boots fine and all seems to work, until you realize the IP address is 127.0.0.1. and you can not connect to a session.

I have tried all the Intel drivers including the DOS version.  I can not get the boot wizard to accept the DOS version.  The error message is "Failed to import driver .....  Failed to find any drivers to add"  The Vista driver lets me boot, but does not get an IP address.

My version of the boot wizard is 11.5.0.2141

Thanks

Ryan

Use this driver...

http://downloadcenter.intel.com/download.aspx?url=...

And this document to import:

Title: 'How to add drivers to DeployAnywhere or WinPE.'
Document ID: 2008050916132860
> Web URL: http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/on-technology...

I finaly got the Networking

I finaly got the Networking working by loading both a XP driver and a Vista driver.  Now I can push images to it, but Deploy Anywhere says I do not have a driver for sata contoller.

PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_3A02

I can't seem to come up with a driver to load.  I beleive that i just need a XP driver, since ghost can push images to the drive?

Thanks

Ryan

Live Updates

Make sure to run the LiveUpdates. You can do this via Help > LiveUpdate via the Ghost Console or Ghost Explorer. There are three Live Updates, and each must be run seaparately. After all updates are done, the Help > About in the Ghost Explorer will read 11.5.0.2165. Make sure to check the version in Ghost Explorer, not in the boot wizard.

Up to Date

I just checked Ghost Explorer and I do have 11.5.0.2165.  I went ahead and ran live update, but there were no updates.

Thank you,

Ryan

Needed Drivers

I had the same issue, where the Intel 82567 NIC on our new Toshiba's wouldn't work in the manner that you're describing. You need to use the current E1000.dos driver. I got it by grabbing the NetWare driver package for this model of NIC from here --> http://downloadcenter.intel.com/confirm.aspx?httpDown=http://downloadmirror.intel.com/4160/eng/PRONWARE_v14_0.exe&agr=&ProductID=3003&DwnldId=4160&strOSs=&OSFullName=&lang=eng

This will start a download of PronWare_v14_0.exe. Run this after it completes downloading and it will self-extract everything to a directory of your choosing. Within the extracted files, go into 'PRO1000 --> DOS' and grab E1000.DOS. This what you need to use on your boot disk -- this version works fine for us.
