Intelligent Updater Failed

Hi All,

Symantec not getting update through Intelligent Updater.
Plz find the attached Intelligent Updater log file for your reference. I would request you all for immediate resolution on the same.

Upon checking the Logs, we found the following Error:

Mon Sep 10 19:27:08 2012 : REG FAILURE: Failed while fetching the path from registry.
Mon Sep 10 19:27:08 2012 : IGNORE ENTRY: Ignoring entry for because of registry read failure. Error occurred while reading the path for the Authorization DLL from the registry.
Mon Sep 10 19:27:08 2012 : The product corresponding to this entry in iuconfig.xml is not installed on the system.

I would suggest you to work on the steps provided in the Articles to resolve the issue:

Extract intelligent updater exe file -->extract virus scan file-->copy all content from virus scan folder -->paste it into c:\program files \comman file\symantec\virusdef\incoming folder.
