Interaction Between Altiris Services

Hello,

As we are struggling for two months now on an opened incident with Altiris Support we need any input fron the community:
- The issue is that "Carbon Copy Service" slow down the logoff. (it is a thought verified by stopping the service)

- What is(are) the interaction(s) between the Carbon Copy Service and the Altiris Agent, Altiris Agent Service during the logoff of a workstation?

The tests we have done are:
- Carbon Copy Service not running the logoff happened between 5 and 15 seconds
- Carbon Copy is running the logoff happened between 30 seconds and 4 minutes !!!

We have moved several machine(s) havong the issue between various sites, the issue is not confirmed on one site but is happening on twp other sites.

We have sniffed the network and nothing coming out after a first reading.

If the CC service is running it is slow. We stop it it is immediately fast, we restart the service it will become slow again within 4 to 24 hours.

The event log does not show any difference between a machine fast and a slow one.

It is not always the same machines having the issue, it is random. From a batch of 80 machines 60 have the same trouble permanently, 20 having the issue time to time. The one having the issue time to time seems to be the machine the more active (users are using them).

Any point to look?
