Internal file being picked up by Download Insight

Created: 27 Nov 2012 | 4 comments

We have an internal file linked to from our internal intranet site that gets picked up by Download Insight.  Is there a way that I can submit this file to Symantec so that it may be analyzed and whitelisted?

Hello,

In case if Download Insight is blocking a internal File, submit to Symantec Security Response Team on:

As an addition to whitelisting, it should be possible to create an exception for the file.

In the SEPM console, try the following:

Clients > [Group] > Policies > Exceptions policy > Exceptions >
  Add|Windows Exceptions|Applications

In the emerging formular your internal application should be visible. Now you can determine the appropriate action for it.
