    Hi,

I will wish to install an internal liveupdate server because I need to plan the hours will be recovered by the virus definition remote sites with low bandwidth . If these updates are in full time work, this could saturate bandwidth.

Cepandant , I do not quite understand how it works and I cannot find documents that clearly explain what to put in place.

Is this an option box somewhere on the server manager or does it create a new server?

    Thank you for your help.

    SEPM : 12.1.40234080

    Thanks Brian,

When I want to install , you are advised me to put it on another server . What about you?

You can't install LUA on SEPM server. It's not supported nor will it work, as you see. LUA needs to be installed on a separate box.

    Hi,

I have a problem to download the updates. Indeed , they intersect at 83%:

I pass through a proxy using an account so no problem on that side:

How many components have you selected to download? Try selecting only 1 component to make sure it goes through, increase the timeout value to higher limit, 120 sec is two mins, make it to five mins and download few components at a time.

11 GB is quite big, try smaller downloads, you can set only few updates like Only AV 32 bit..

It works when I do step by step. Small question , once I have downloaded all the updates , do the next time , it will download 11 GB or size will be smaller (delta) ? thank you
