When you boot up Internet Security Recovery Tool 2009 off of the CD it loads into a RAM drive and never starts anything of the installed windows hard drive correct?
I ask this because when I get an infected PC I want to scan it needs the internet connection to download the updates for the recovery tool and I want to be sure the infected windows isn't running in the background, therefore creating a risk of speading it's problem to others on the network. I would only be plugging in the network to the PC for the updates then unplug it.
Thanks!
