Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Hi,

I have a number of clients that are showing this error in their logs

 

Invalid data received in http reponse. Expected 910 bytes, received 0 (-2147024883)

Error sending event to server, retry in 3 minutes

 

I cant seem to find any info on this.

Any help appreciated

 

 

 

 

 

If you can post the complete details from the log entry that would tell us where the error is coming from, specially the source. Do the errors appear on all clients or a handful? From one of the clients can you access the Smp URL? Is SSL enforced on IIS and the client is configured for http? Restart IIS Read the IIS logs - search for a computers IP address and look at the http code. Change the severity logging to 255 on one of the clients registry to gather additional details. Up the number of logs created. Change the severity back to default. You can do this in the registry or the RAAD tool.
