Inventory collection on HP Thin Client
Hello,
Currently, I am working on HP Thin Client with ATA Flash (Hard disk) size 512 MB. I will install altiris agent to get H/W information using Inventory Solution.
Altiris agent have successful installed but when download software package for Inventory Solution was failed with the error message on the log file “There is not enough space on the disk”
Based on KB ID 25410, the registry key must be modified each system where disk space is less 500 MB
By default on the NS, The Min Disk Free Space registry is set to 500 MB. Before altiris agent installation, the free disk space is 250 MB.
My Question,
Can we set the "Min Disk Free Space" (registry) key below 500 MB on Thin client from Notification server so that when the client is download software package for Inventory solution agent, automatically on client have also modified their registry key ?

You could deploy a registry key
via NS, using a script calling regedit /s, however, there is no guarantee this would be applied before inventory tries to download and run, especially if you have inventory set to Run Once ASAP.
What OS are these thin clients? I was always working under the impression that the only supported Altiris client on thin client devices were the Deployment Server aclients.

In our customer didn't have S/W delivery solution for deploy a registry key. They have Inventory solution Only. And if using login-script for the domain, they didn't permit used that.
Is there any hotfix for fixing this case ?
The OS of Thin clients are Windows XP Embeded.

No hotfix
that I know of. If they don't have Sofware Delivery or Deployment Server, your hands are kind of tied. Windows XP embedded isn't support for the Altiris Agent in any case.

The Current NS version is v6.0.6074 (SP3 + Release 9).
Is it support MS Windows XP Embedded ?

only deployment solution support XPe,the other altiris solution don't support XPe,include NS.
