Inventory Forwarding scheduled task disabled

    Hi

I have 2 Notification servers with SP3 r8. Inventory forwarding is configured to forward inventory from the client facing server to the Asset server.

Inventory forwarding has added Windows Scheduled tasks to both servers (the destination and the source servers). The Windows Scheduled task on the destination server is called: ns.replication.resources.

This scheduled task is responsible for getting computer "Status" from the source server. I do not want the computer status to forward, so I have disabled this Windows Scheduled task on the destination server.

Does anybody know if disabling this Windows Scheduled Taks "ns.replication.resources" on the destination server will have any additional "undesirable" effects?

(As far as I can see, Inventory forwarding still works, but the status associations do not forward anymore )
