Inventory Jobs Fail With Error 0x45d

We have recently begun to have inventory jobs fail nightly with: "Final error: 0x45d - The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error."

We are running Backup Exec 2012 Version 14.0 Rev. 1798.

The target media is stored in a B2D folder on a network share.

Everything was working fine with this setup until a few days ago, and no other errors being reported.

Anybody have an idea what's happening here?

This means that the B2D folder cannot be accessed from the media server.  You got to trouble-shoot the connectivity problem.

I'm not sure about that, as the backup job completes without error.  But worth investigating.

Thanks.
