This issue has been solved. See solution.

There are tons of workarounds of how to updating the processorasec.ini back in version 6.

So what is the solution here?..

I am getting P3 CPU from x201i notebook users and P2 CPU from HP P3000 Desktop users..

Additional problem..

Also strange inventory data from memory.. It would be pointless to collect inaccurate data sets and show them to your boss..

Windows XP & Windows Server

Windows XP & Windows Server 2003 has a known issue that prevents it from properly detecting newer processors in the Win32_Processor data class that we use . This is more then likely what you are experiencing with these machines. Microsoft has created a update for both operating systems. Unfortunately the update has to be requested from Microsoft.

Here is the link to the XP fix.

Thanks TG

And I assume everyone else is also experiencing the memory fault(eg. total number of slots = 5, total memory = 4097..etc)  but just ignoring them?..
