Need a report of computers that have the Windows Telnet application enabled (telnet.exe). Is this possible to do?

How to enable this feature in Windows 7 is by.

>start

>control panel

>programs

>turn windows features on or off

>check telnet client

Reports -> All Reports

Reports -> Discovery and Inventory -> Inventory -> Cross-platform -> Software/Applications -> General Software -> Audit Software Search report

then filter filename for telnet.exe?

You need to run a file inventory before, of course.

You might need to remove excludes of the %WINDIR% directory in the advanced settings of the file inventory policy/task.
