Symantec Management Platform (Notification Server)

Hi all,

We are running Altiris 6.0.6074 (sp3 +R12)

We currently have machines in areas where there is no network capability.

Does anyone wiser than me know if there is a way to install the agent and run a manual inventory without bringing the machine to a network enabled area?

This is going to be an ongoing problem for us so any advice that you can give will be gratefully received. 

There is a feature called zero foot print or stand alone inventory. Basically you create a package, and run it manually on your systems. The output files can then be copied to the Notification Server and processed. A short version is posted here: AKB28691. Some additonal details are found here: AKB24928.
