Hello everyone:

I have the following questions, I hope someone can guide me.

Currently the Resource File Clean task not working, which is scheduled to run weekly.

As I can debug and / or purge the contents of this table? InvHist_Installed_File_Details

Or, who feeds the contents of this table?

History is enabled (not by default) at

Settings -> Notification Server -> Purging Maintenance

Resource History - "Resource Data History" tab - "Software Management" - Dataclass: "Installed File Details"

If this is enabled Installed File Details are not overwriten in the "normal" (non history) table only, also old entries are moved to the history table. Entries in the history table are kept for <x> months (you do configure this there).
I would not enable this without a good reason for any table that contains so many changing data.

Currently my setup is how you show it.


Resource History


But Clean Up File Resource fails to successfully complete

Last week run "Clean Up File Resource" and for three days did not change the status "Running"

I would check the currently running tasks. There is a possibility that you have hung tasks running that might be preventing the file clean task from running. Below is a few documents to help, one to import the Currently running tasks report and the other is to kill the current running tasks if you have many hung or stuck.
