  • 1.  IOS Touchdown Enterprise Licensing issue.

    Hello,

    I have a IOS user who purchased Touchdown before Nitrodesk was purchase by Symantec. Recently he has upgraded to a new IPhone and was downloading his purchased apps. The purchased app was listed as Touchdown for Enterprise, although he purchase the app long before this name was applied.

    When confirguring the app, all works well until it fails the license check. States an enterprise license failure. The newer version Touchdown for IOS Ver. 8.0.0 is only available if the user pays another $19.99. Is there no upgrade path for those IOS users the have Ver. 7 to go to version 8 without having to repurchase the same app again?

    There is only one paid TouchDown app in the store, and it is "TouchDown for iOS". This product has not been renamed, but has been updated (for free) to version 8.0. If the user has indeed purchased it, it should be available under the purchases section in the appstore. Please make sure though that the user is using the same Apple ID to login to the store under which the original purchase was done.
