This issue has been solved. See solution.

On the Home Page of the SEP console the screen clearly shows you the latest AV defs revision that is currently on the SEPM server, where those are distributed in your and environment AS WELL as what Symantec has available on their site (the key).

However, when you switch the IPS Signature Version Distribution, it does not tell me what Symantec considers is the latest signature version, it just tells me what version is on the SEPM server and what's distributed in the environment

How do we confirm that these are in fact the latest Symantec has?  When I go to the Symantec site and look at look at the Virus Definitions and Security Updates page it mentions the latest AV def revisions but again fails to notate what are the latest revisions for IPS.

Currently there is no way to effectively determine the current IPS Signatures that Symantec has available. I would suggest creating a enhancement request for a feature similar to what is displayed on the Home screen of the SEPM for the "Latest Symantec Version" of IPS Signatures.

https://engweb.symantec.com/enhancement/

Hope that helps!

As you have identified, security response don't put it on the front page, so its hard for us to pull the latest information, we are working on it though!
