AFAIK, you can only get the IP signatures via LiveUpdate.

Are you sure? because i have my liveUpdate policie created but when i go to:

Clients/ policies/ Location-independent Policies and Settings/ Custom intrusion prevention

I dont see the intrusion prevention signatures to choose which one to use
in fact the intrusion prevention appears off because i havent choose the custom IPS  to use because as i explain before there's none  Custom IPS Signature charge in this option.

what it could be??

Sorry, I misunderstood what you were looking for. To use custom IP signatures, you have to create them yourself. From the Policies section, go to the Intrusion Prevention policy and click 'Add Custom Intrusion Prevention Signature'. From there create whatever signature groups and variables you want to use. Once that is complete, you'll be able to use the location independent Custom Intrusion Prevention.

Hope this helps.
