  • 1.  IPS signatures & Windows 2000 SP4

    When Microsoft ends support for Windows 2000 Server SP4, will Symantec still provide IPS signatures for Symantec/Norton security products installed in this Operating System?

    Good question...but I think the Answer would be Yes..
    Symantec is a product that is working on Windows
    People wont stop using Windows 2000 just in a day.All across the world so many Critical Servers are still on Windows 2000. I have seen so many Banks Server on Windows 2000.
    And you know the Change Management procedure in our Organizations.
    So I think even for Win 2000 users they don't have to worry for atleast a year

    But thats Purely my Opinion I guess Paul or somebody from Symantec can answer this question but whatever they say would be official.
