    Hello

    I applied the document

"How to deploy the Symantec Endpoint Protection (SEP) client Release Update 5 or later with current virus definitions and intrusion prevention signatures."

when i install the new package , the definition for the  Antivirus Protection is ok (vdefhub.zi)  , but the intrusion prevention signatures ipsdef is not applied . I still have the intrusion Prevention signature of september 2008 instead of march 2010
i must apply "update policies " to obtain the last signature
I want when i  install my package ( SMS ) or Migration and deployment  Wizard Symantec  with the last signature without an action like update policie

I take intrusion Prevention Signature in folder \{D3769926-05B7-4ad1-9DCF-23051EEE78E3}\100313002
the date file is 15 March 2010

Have you an idea why the ipsdef doesn't apply ?

    Best regards

    DO you renamed full.zip to "IPSDef.zip" ?

I didn't forget to rename the file

i applied the document "How to deploy " and rename full.zip  to ipsdef.zip  an i saw in log sep_inst.log that the file was copied in folder temp and i found it with the correct date ( 15 MArch )

    Thanks
