Hi

i'm using CMS 7.0 and my requirement is to deploy image by booting with InitialAutomationEnv.iso

client is successfully booting and able to connect to server as well but deployment menu i'm not getting.

it stops after start up complete at the command prompt.

i have configured initial deployment setttings and assigned deployment task as well as per documents available.
I have created boot disk image by using bootwiz and tried but negative results.

kindly some one help me to get rid of this issue ASAP or help me how to do OS deployment by using PXE boot

Hello Amarnath Reddy, Kindly

Hello Amarnath Reddy,

Kindly check folowing things, if your havent checked:
1. After booting to PE environment are you able to ping any machine or check you own ip, coz it might be possible that PE has not recognized your network driver.
2. In NS console you have created some tasks and assigned those task in 'Initial Deployment Settings'
3. Set a few seconds to get your menu displayed, by default it is 30 seconds.

May be a bad password somewhere

If you open a command prompt and type the following:

C:\NET HELPMSG 86

The specified network password is not correct.

What particular password it is looking for, I don't know.  I assume you must enter some password into the initial deployment configuration so it can map a drive or access the DS.  Hopefully this helps you.

Thanks,
Kyle

Hi Amarnat, Have you done NS

Hi Amarnat,

Have you done NS installation using domain credential or from local admin. As NS will probably use the credential of the user you have installed the application.
