This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am trying to create an itegration package and I keep getting this error:

ERROR [42000] [MySQL][ODBC 5.2(w) Driver][mysqld-5.5.32]You have an error in your SQL syntax; check the manual that corresponds to your MySQL server version for the right syntax to use near '[event]' at line 1

I am using MySql Server 5.5 and the unicode driver on a 64 bit wondows server 2008 r2 box.

I was previously using the MySql 3.2 drive and was having the same result.

Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance,

To furthur clarify, I am ably to successfully connect to the database when i setup the ODBC connection in the integration wizard. The error comes when I choose a table from the list in the drop down box.

Which version of WF are you running?

As of WF 7.5 SP1, MySQL connectivity is no longer supported (it may become re-supported in a future release)

In previous versions, the MySQL database driver shows tables via a "SHOW TABLES" command... it's possible that your MySQL version doesn't support that.

I am running the logicbase 2007 product through a vendor called BuilderMT who has repackaged this as their BPM Product.
