We are currently having an issue with the Service Desk application.  Once the updating begins (next to Select Group Action), we are unable to expand or collapse any items from the list and at the bottom of the page in the left-hand corner the error on page message is displayed.  Once this occurs, we are able to open links to tickets from any items already expanded, however, if we need to expand any other items or collapse, we have to refresh the page before before the updating starts again.  Can anyone share some light on this thorn of an issue.  Thanks.

I have seen this problem too, but do not have a solution for it.

Yeah I also have this issue since moving to SD 7.1 from SD 7.0

I am becoming concerned that I moved from SD 7.0 to 7.1 in the hope we would have less issue but I am finding we actually have more problems now :-(

What browser are you trying to use? I have experienced it with IE 8 once in a while but have not experienced it with Firefox (or Safari on OS X). Have you tried a different version of IE as well?

I have seen the behavior in version 7.0 MP1, we have sent the problem to Symantec support, but no resolution, what so ever. Let me hear if you get a solution.

I have noticed this on 7.0 when users upgraded to IE9.

We have found that other browsers besides IE give much better performance and are less prone to these problems.  We are checking to see whether the IE problems are related to group polices applied in AD.

We had many issues using IE with SD 7.1 and ended up moving to Chrome which is proving to be much quicker and less error prone.

We had a plain vanilla out of the box IE setup so no changes that could have caused issues.
