  • 1.  Issue using Ghost with new Dell Optiplex 790 Desktops

    Help !!!  Dell Optiplex 790 Desktops unable to ghost using Solution suite 2.x.  I get error failed to reboot client to recovery partition. Using CD method or console.

    Check the network card on the client and add Vista 32 drivers to the Boot Wizard and create a Boot CD.

     

    What is the version of Ghost Solution Suite?

    What is the Pre-OS you are using. Is it PC-DOS or WINPE...... 

    Download the DOS drivers from Manufacturer website for PC-DOS.

    Download Windows Vista 32 bit drivers from Manufacturer website as WINPE 2.0 is based on Vista Kernel.
