  • 1.  Issue while installing CMS 7.1 SP1 on Vm ware

    Hi,

    I am trying to install CMS 7.1 SP1b trialware on a virtual machine, I have installed all the prerequisites, but I am unable to get it installed. Every time its building package insead of prompting to install. My set up is as mentioned below: I am using a desktop class machine with Intel Core i5 processor 2.4 GHZ with 3 GB RAM and have installed SQL on the same machine.

    1. VM ware 7

    2. VM ware 7

    3. WIndows Server 2008 R2 64 bit

    4. SQL 2005 64 bit

    Any suggestion is highly appriciated.

    Are you running Server 2008 R2 64bit with SP1?  I've not read where that is a hard fast requirement or not but that may be somehing to look into.

    I am using Server 2008 R2 64bit  Enterprise edition.

    I'm sure that you Windows has a problem with his version, try to type: "ver" in CMD to see what version has being reported. You must have sure that version Server 2008 R2 is installed.

    If you use another version, the pre-reqs phase will be pass, but no option to Install will be showed, only to create the install-package.

    What's the SIM version you have?

    It was OS issue...
