Is anyone else having issues after the title PMImports? I am showing our bulletins has having significantly extra updates; i.e. MS08-078 had 22 now requires 47. MS08-076 now shows 201, etc. It is going through and showing anomolies like this for most of 2008, 2007, 2006 and some 2005/2004 updates.

Anything in the Altiris logs at all? I had this issue a long time ago, either at the tail end of 6.1 or early 6.2, but I think all I did was force a pmimport. Our Symantec contact is out for the holidays so if it's critical I suggest you contact support.

I am getting the feeling our IT department is divided. We are scheduled for an Altiris redesign/reload next month and may want to wait it out. I am concerned how this may affect our Patch Management capabilities. Is the Symantec contact back yet?

Not until after the New Year. I have left them a message regarding this.

Something else to try would be the old work around of unchecking the 'download only if modified' for the pmimport and forcing the import again.

Also, are you managing more than one language? I had this on one server, and I'm pretty sure that was the one server that gave me fits (uh, with this particular issue. )

No we are only running two OSs and only one language. I will try your suggestion and see what happens. I don't see how it can make it any worse.
