A while back, I had made an inquiry into getting SEP installed on a Vista client. I followed th instructions on the listed webpage.

    http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007091021513648

When I installed this, on the Vista machine the installation of Office 2007 immidiatley became corrupt, my manager who is the owner of this machine needed to re do MS-Office completly. After it was done, it was running as it should run. He was working on it this morning. I had gone in to the SEPM server this morning to test something and I disabled Tamper protection for now, about 5 minutes after I did this, his MS-Office 2007 was once again corrupt. I need to know why this occured, applications should not be jeopardized by SEP installations. It was initially, and after I had made a policy change.  Where did this go wrong, and why was Office 2007 compromised by this?

This is the error the most frequently occured checking the event logs...Prev Error.jpg

Wow, that seems really unusual.  Could the hardware in the machine be going bad, specifically the memory? Can you upgrade to the latest MR5 release?
