We're investigating an issue with empty notifications being sent, like the one below, but haven't seen any mention of this being reporting out in the community. Have any of you received empty notification email messages recently? If so, when and for what community (if specific community).

Three more empty notifications received yesterday....

Thanks for the added info, Marianne. The dev team is interested to know if you think these are membership notifications? I realize it is likely impossible to tell what is triggering them, but they wanted to see if we had any hunches as to the trigger.

Kevin's latest blog made we wonder if the following might be related:

Added code that emails the author of a solution when their comment is marked as such.

I have yet to see such email.

In all honesty, I find the fact that my solution total stopped accumulating on 16 May more annoying than the empty notifications....

I am now more than ever convinced that the empty notifications are related to email notifications for solutions.

I have yet to see notification for a solution, but the empty email seems to arrive shortly after a post has been marked as solution.

Thanks Marianne! I went to pass along these insights to the dev team and turns out that was the issue - they've resolved it now so should be the end of the mysterious empty notifications. So appreciate your assistance with this!

Needless to say we've received a lot of feedback on that and the dev team is working on them. I believe there was a fix released last night on that, but not 100% certain on that. 

Marianne, just a clarification - dev is working on it but hasn't rolled out a fix yet. Sorry for the hasty info.

Great to hear it. The fix reconciled posts with solutions during the past two weeks so all should tally up. All credit goes to Kevin and our dev team - they rocked it!
