Issues opening Symantec Installation Manager, “The product listing located at:…”

We are currently experiencing issues with SolutionSam which is the server for SIM (Symantec Installation Manager) product listings and .msi file downloads.  When opening SIM, there is a message, “The product listing located at:…” and you cannot get an updated list of products.

We are sorry for any inconvenience updating and installing via SIM. We are working on this issue.  At this time, we do not have an exact time this will be resolved.
We will update this post as we know more. Please “Follow” this post to get automatic updates.

This is a mayor problem, hope to get some information ASAP

Yeah, you'd think Symantec would have a better/existing DR plan. This thing's been down for days. Not confidence inspiring, to say the least.

FYI, I've not seen any official announcment but the problem appears to be fixed now.  Try again.

At this time, SolutionSam is back up and running normally.  You should be able to install/update as usual.

If you continue to see any issues with SIM, please post them here and we will look into them promptly.

Down 4 or 5 days! No biggie.frown Symantec, you guys are awesome. I can't believe everyone doesn't use your products...what am I using your products?   Oh, and thanks for the informative RFO, not that the paying customers need a reason, but it'd be nice if you did a little sharing. no

Is there a link with the PMImport of patch management ? A customer has issues with some bulletins not being uploaded...
